Introduction to the Quetta Electric Supply Company QESCO
Quetta Electric Supply Company QESCO was incorporated on 13 May 1998 as a Public Company Limited under Ordinance 1984. QESCO commenced operating on July 1, 1998. WAPDA’s former electric area boards were turned into companies as a result of the corporatization and commercialization process, and QESCO took over the company’s assets and liabilities. DISCOs are presently managed by Pakistan’s Ministry of Water and Power.
