Bank Islami Pakistan Limited is seeking an Assistant Manager Application Server and AIX Administration.
Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree who are looking for a banking career. Those candidates can apply for this post.

About the Job Role: ملازمت کے کردار کے بارے میں
- System management of AIX 6.1/7.1/7.2 and Power VM, including installation, upgrading, patching, and bug fixes.
- Management, administration, support/troubleshooting, stability, and maintenance for IBM Power 9 systems.
- IBM Power Server Administration (LAPR/DPAR construction, installation, and maintenance as well as support through HMC/IVM).
- Coordinating with other relevant teams to resolve performance issues and remove bottlenecks.
- Testing and supporting disaster recovery setup using MKSYSB as well as recovery for sanity checks.
- Upgrade to the latest version of the HMC and use NMON and LPAR2RRD to monitor server performance.
- Update standard policies to reflect environmental changes, audit findings, and design performance improvement programs.
- Maintain service uptime for internal bank customers.
