Introduction to the Kinnaird College for Women
Kinnaird College for Women is located in Lahore. It is a women’s liberal arts university. Kinnaird College was established in 1913 by the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission.
In 1919, the Presbyterian Mission Church and the Church Mission Society formed a consortium to fund and operate the institution. It moved to its present location on Jail Road in 1926 and grew over time, eventually becoming a 20-acre (81,000 m2) complex by 1939.
Lady Mary Jane Kinnaird, co-founder of the YWCA and a notable philanthropist at the time, is the institution’s namesake. The institution was built in the early twentieth century and was originally located near Kinnaird High School.
The college became an official degree institution in 2002 and is administered by the Association of Kinnaird Colleges.

Teaching positions are available for Lecturer, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor. Candidates with PhD, LLB, LLM, and Master’s degrees can apply for these posts.
