It was established in 1955. The present corporation was created on 30 March 1989 by merging three significant companies: Sui Gas Transmission Co., Ltd., Karachi Gas Corporation Limited, and Indus Gas Company Limited.
Sui Southern Gas business is Pakistan’s leading integrated gas business. The corporation specializes in providing and distributing natural gas in South Pakistan, particularly Sindh and Balochistan. Sui Southern Gas Company’s transmission system runs from Sui, Balochistan, to Karachi, Sindh.

Sui Southern Gas Company SSGC is seeking a Deputy Chief Engineer-P&D Commercial, Deputy Chief Manager Engineer-P&D Commercial, and Senior Management/Leadership Position.
